This communiqué records the principal discussions and recommendations arising from Dialogue Fiji’s Dialogue on Social Cohesion, held at Pacific Harbour on 26–27 September 2019. Participants from state institutions, political parties, academia, civil society, the media, faith communities and development partners considered electoral systems, public trust, hate speech, fake news, national identity, power sharing and inclusive decision-making in Fiji.
