Dialogue Fiji has urged the Electoral Commission to reconsider proposals for a redesigned ballot paper, warning of serious practical, financial and administrative consequences.

Dialogue Fiji welcomes the Government’s commitment to Fiji’s constitutional election timetable and warns that any attempt to extend its mandate beyond the prescribed term would amount to a self-coup with severe democratic, diplomatic and economic consequences.
