Campaign Budget Builder

Plan a realistic, lawful campaign budget in seven steps — set a ceiling, record funding and expenses, check cash flow across campaign phases, stress-test reduced budgets, prepare for Fiji compliance, and generate a printable plan. Your answers stay in your browser.

Private budgeting workspace
Use Fijian dollars. Do not enter donor addresses, bank details or confidential personal information. Record each contribution and expense separately in official campaign records. This tool is for planning and does not replace advice from your political party, the Fijian Elections Office, an accountant or a lawyer.
How to use this tool

Move through the seven steps using Next, or jump with the step buttons above the panel. Set a realistic ceiling first, then add your funding sources and expenses. The tool totals everything automatically, checks cash flow across campaign phases, tests reduced budgets, and generates a printable plan. Nothing you type is saved on the server; refreshing the page clears it.

This builder provides planning guidance and is not legal or accounting advice. It does not measure legal compliance and does not predict electoral success.

How the readiness score and voter-contact share are calculated

Budget readiness combines funding coverage (funding as a share of planned spending, 35%), whether the plan plus contingency stays within the effective ceiling (20%), whether a surplus covers the contingency reserve (15%), the absence of flagged funding sources (15%) and your compliance-preparation checklist (15%). It is a planning indicator only. It is not a legal-compliance score and does not predict electoral success.

Voter-contact share is the percentage of planned expenditure assigned to voter-contact categories such as transport, printing, community meetings, digital, broadcast, communications, volunteer welfare and polling-day logistics.

Effective ceiling is the lower of your maximum affordable budget and a positive party-approved ceiling.
