This edited volume brings together presentations and papers examining ethnic relations and social cohesion in Fiji. It considers common national identity, political negotiation and consensus-building, representation and collective decision-making, elections, the contribution of faith-based organisations and the role of the news media. The collection reflects a range of perspectives and identifies opportunities for dialogue, policy reform and sustained relationship-building across Fiji’s communities.
