This research report examines Fijian parents’ intentions and perceptions regarding COVID-19 vaccination for children, identifying demographic patterns, safety concerns, information sources, vaccine hesitancy factors and views on mandatory vaccination.

This research report examines Fijian parents’ and guardians’ willingness to vaccinate children against COVID-19. It analyses overall attitudes, demographic differences, perceived vaccine safety, comparative perceptions of disease and vaccine risks, sources of information, concerns about vaccination, views on mandatory vaccination and the characteristics of vaccine-hesitant subgroups. The findings are intended to support evidence-based public communication and vaccination policy.
